Eva joined the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division in 1996. Eva and her husband, Ed, reside in Westfield, Indiana and Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Eva’s hometown).
After graduating from with an degree in Physical Education LSU, Eva taught all levels of Physical Education and coached many sports. This is where Eva says her passion for teaching and coaching began.
After a move to Atlanta in 1994, Eva was given the opportunity to teach golf, the sport she loved and learned to play at age 9. Eva has held multiple positions including Assistant Professional, Buyer, Lead Instructor, After School SNAG Instructor and High School Girls Golf Coach. She credits her 8 years as Director, LPGA Girls Golf, Cobb County, Georgia and 5 years as Project Manager and Trainer for the First Tee National School Program as the turning point to advancing her teaching skills.
Today, Eva is excited to offer a variety of clinics for all ages, including After School SNAG Programs (K-5th grade) in Central Indiana and Baton Rouge. Eva continues to follow her passion to teach kids (and adults) the fundamental skills to play golf in a fun environment.
Eva says, “It takes a TEAM both on and off the course to develop and nurture a child into a champion. It is an exciting challenge that drives me daily to be a better teacher.”
